800 new homes would deliver close to 1,600 cars - providing further pressure on already congested areas to the east at the Coxbridge roundabout and on the Farnham bypass.    Between 8am and 9am each morning it already takes longer than 25 minutes to drive the 5 miles from the Memorial Hall in Bentley to the Shepherd and Flock roundabout in Farnham. This is before the traffic effects of the 4,000 new homes in Bordon and 350 new homes at Coxbridge are brought into the equation.

Central Farnham already suffers from significant air quality issues in and around the town.   The small (often single track) backroads and rat runs around Northbrook up to Crondall, Dora’s Green, Bentley and Well just will not cope.
